Absolutely brilliant bit of kit. I used this smartphone borescope to find a slow leak behind my bathroom tiles without having to smash the wall down. The LED lights are incredibly bright and the app worked perfectly on my iPhone 13.
As a weekend mechanic, this automotive endoscope is a game changer. Being able to steer the camera head 180 degrees back on itself let me inspect the backs of my intake valves clearly. Much better than the cheap fixed-head ones.
I purchased this for inspecting HVAC ducting in an older property. The 6mm endoscope camera fits through tiny access holes, and the image quality on my Android tablet is exceptionally crisp. Highly recommended for professional diagnostics.
The articulating function is fantastic and it feels very well made. My only minor gripe is that I wish the flexible-rigid cable was 3 metres instead of 1.5m for deeper drain runs. Still, a superb phone borescope camera for the price.
I previously bought a Depstech camera but returned it because I couldn't look around corners. This two way steering endoscope solves that problem entirely. The thumbwheel is smooth and the IP67 waterproof rating held up fine in a wet pipe.
The camera hardware is premium and the articulation is genuinely useful for engine bays. The UseePlus app is a bit basic in its layout, but it does exactly what it needs to do without crashing. Solid tool.
